HOOK LINKS

In root crop farming, Hook Links also known as Hook Chain are commonly found in drag chain conveyors, where they transport crops such as potatoes, carrots, and onions from one stage to another, as well as in soil handling systems that move excess dirt away from harvested crops.

Hook Links are also used in bucket elevators to lift crops or materials in storage and processing facilities and can be found in root crop cleaning systems where they help drive belt mechanisms.

Other uses include their utilisation in manure spreaders and soil conveyor systems for transporting organic matter and removing debris from harvested root crops.

While Hook Links are essential for connecting and maintaining chain systems, they are not suitable for direct crop contact or sieving processes, for which Belted Webs, Belted Chains or Sieve Webs are more appropriate.
